Rake Back?

Has anyone ever signed up for a Rake Back account?

I was just checking out the following site and wonder what you might know about it:

Onlinepokerrakeback

This is interesting. I'm just starting to get curious about all these promotional sites. Now that I see this, why would I sign up with a promotional site. I mean they give you about $50 when you complete your required play as a one time payment vs a Rake Back plan that would continue to give you a % back of your play.

Also, why provide the promotional companies with referals if you can become an affiliate yourself?

This stuff is all very new to me. So I would be very interested in hearing from you.

Thanks all...

Most sites make you sign up so many people over a certain period of time to maintain being an affiliate. Plus, most sites don't let you sign up yourself.

I've never heard of onlinerakeback.com and that should serve as a warning if you do sign up with them. A lot of supposed rakeback sites all of a sudden disapear after a month of existense.

I would remommend rakerebate.net or thisisthenuts.com as they are both reputable rakeback affiliates.

I can second rakerebate.net .. I have rakeback accounts through them for FullTilt (27%) and Sun Poker (32%) .. they are prompt and efficient and you can check your rakeback online.
I am considering signing up as an affiliate for them, so if you want to sign up through me, drop me a line.

Cheers,

Colin

The reason to do a VPP or PSO rather than Rakeback is that with VPP or PSO you can sign up for an obscure site, finish the minimum requirements, get whatever you get for it, and move on. I plan on signing up with rakeback for some sites in the future, and when I do, I plan on playing most of my cash game play on those sites. I use VPP and PSO for random dinky sites, and (at first) for my goal of getting Best Buy cards to buy a new TV. Rakeback is a great setup though and I plan on using thisisthenuts.com soon.

If you're interested, here's the link:

Let me know if this helps out at all.

I have been using OnlinePokerRakeback.com for a while now and they are GREAT! The payments are always prompt and done in an orderly fashion by way of spreadsheets which show how much each player earns in rakeback. I HIGHLY reccomend OnlinePokerRakeback.com
